Synopsis
What’s the story?
It’s summer and twenty-five-year-old Hanna arrives in Madrid to work as an intern in the cavernous basement archives of the Prado Museum where Goya’s Black Paintings are housed. Everything in the Spanish city is inviting and seductive. One evening she meets a group of colourful young Swedes who have decided to maximise their time in Madrid and spend every hot summer night squeezing the life out of life. Hanna is drawn into their enchanted circle and longs for their approval. But they have resources she doesn’t, and gradually she is drawn into a web of lies and duplicity that threatens to have serious consequences. Will they realise who she really is?
